Burgundy Goliath Birdeater and other are here!
So I originally went to Tarantula Canada to pick up a little 1" Theraphosa stirmi (Burgundy Goliath Birdeater). Heaven knows I got a little sidetracked while I was there, and picked up a second little one :P

Here's the baby T. stirmi, I love the little white feet! :P

...aaaaaaaaaaaaannd here's the other T I picked up today: Phormictopus cancerides, a.k.a. the Haitian Brown Birdeater. Also 1":

both are excellent. I'm quite looking forward to expanding my addiction to encompass such amazing tarantulas. and again, I blame you, boanerges, and brian for educating me.

hope they do well for you.

The Theraphosa stirmi can get to a legspan of 9-11" and the Phormictopus cancerides is smaller, on average 7-8". :)

Awesome new additions!!!! I have never been big on the haitain browns personally for some reason but they should be a lot of fun as I have heard they are usually quite defensive? I absolutely LOVE that little stirmi though!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I had the extra space and such I would buy quite a few of them myself!!! I am still thinking of adding another female to my collection though if I can fit her in. 20 gallon tanks take up a lot of space though and cost a lot to get and set up properly for them (it took over 3 bags of the coco fiber just to fill the tank up to the depth the substrate needed to be - lol). And right now I have my 1 stirmi girl in one and my big Lasiodora parahybana (salmon pink bird eater) female in one. Not in the same one though :P
