Cant really blame people for not noticing or choosing to respond.

Scale counts are a good way to find out if it's pure.

While this is true, we work very hard to expand our interests into all herp related fields. I would LOVE to see more traffic in the Morelia forum, as well as so many other species.
Sometimes a thread just falls through the cracks, but all in all, no matter which forum you put it in, it's rare for one to go completely unnoticed. I'm sorry that happened to yours. I don't think it's a "waste of time"...sometimes they just need a little nudge is all. Especially when we're trying to grow interest in something other than ball pythons.
So please, continue to share. Answer what questions you can! They are beautiful snakes and some excellent questions have been asked about them. :D

I have a pair if Vans myself both females, one was a slow eater but doing great now. You can't go wrong with the Vans and yours are nice to from what I see.
Curious though about the scale count for identifying different carpet species. That wouldn't be true in all the species of carpets for sure since you cannot even tell the difference in coastals to jungles other than their size and color and that they are also known integrades in their native homeland of Australia. I haven't read up on Ben's/Justin's/Nick's book yet but I'm sure they talk about.
Cheers!!!
