What is this??

I noticed something on my bp's eye, it looks like an eye lid. I used a warm qtip to try and wipe it away but it didn't come off. It doesn't seem to hurt her or bother her. Her last shed was 8/3. Please let me know what you think. I'm sorry the pics suck but it was the best I could do at the time

Did she shed recently? It could be a stuck eye cap but it's really hard to tell from your pictures.

Better pictures would help, but based on these I'd assume it's just a corner of an eye cap from the last shed. I do NOT recommend poking at it with q-tips. I highly recommend you leave it alone. People can do some permanent harm trying to get things off of a bp's eye. Stuck eye caps are only really damaging after they pile up over a long period of time.

A friend of mine had a snake once which was slightly dehydrated, making his eye cap look and wrinkled up. He assumed it was a stuck eye cap and grabbed one of the wrinkles with a pair of tweezers and pulled it off. It left the flesh of the eye itself exposed to the elements and the snake was eventually blinded. Have patience. It can be frustrating, but the best thing you can do for the animal is to let nature sort it out. When in doubt, leave it alone!

As covered above there is far more risk in removing it than leaving it if you are unsure what it is.

It could simply be the membrane between the spectacle and the rest of the skin has moved out of place.

Keep an eye on it and up the humidity and inspect the next shed skin to make sure the spectacles are there.

It wasn't there after her last shed but I will keep an eye on it and raise the humidity a bit. Thank you for your answers.
