Now for the bad news. :P
That is a really bad idea to have the flexwatt bent like that.
Why didn't you just cut it and then connect it in either series or parallel?
You also need to make sure all the shelves (or more specifically pieces of flexwatt ) have the same wattage.
So if your normal shelves are using say 20 watts you need to make sure that shelf is either also 20 wats or is connected in parallel so tht it contains 2 strips at 20 watts each.
Otherwise you might find your temps will be off in that shelf.
