    Are these okay for Quarantine?
So I may be getting two new BP's in the next couple of days, but I already have 2 BP's in my quarantine tanks. Would this sterilite set up be okay? They would be 2010 snakes, in the realm of 200-300g. Again, this would only be for the 3 month quarantine.

Obviously I would put the air holes in, and rig a heating system. If you think this isn't sufficient, I would be completely open to any suggestions.

No, you can't keep snakes in those. There are gaps above the tubs that would allow the snakes to escape. You may be able to modify them to eliminate the gap and make them suitable, but you'd be better off buying individual tubs.

    No problem... ;)

I tried to use one of those for mice at one point. It took a few mysterious mouse disappearances for me to figure out what was happening. If someone DID come out with a little prefab unit that could be used as a rack, I'd be picking up a few...

Oh, and HI from a little farther South in Jersey...

There is a stack similar to those that DONT have the gap. Not sure where i seen it but their out there.

And even ones with gaps you can modify with a wood frame around the back and 2 sides flush on the tub. This will take the gap away and no escape.

Thanks! I have to keep my eye open for them. I actually just picked up some 6qt and 15qt tubs from kmart for super cheap. I may go stock up on them for when I build my rack (yay!).
