Question about breeding hets
I am completely new to breeding Ball Pythons. So I have a question. If I were to breed a 66% het Pied to a 66% het Pied is there any chance I would get a Pied Ball Python? Thank you for the responses. Hets are still a little confusing to me. And is there a good sourse that anyone can recommend to read on this subject so I can learn more? Thanks again.

It depends, for you to produce a Pied both would need to prove out for you, however since there is only 66% chances that those are actually Het Pied it could take you YEARS of breeding before hatching something out if you even do (1 might be a het and the other be normal or both could be normals)
While I do not mind proving out Possible Het females (I have a few I produced and held back and I have also purchased an entire clutch of possible het females) I would not however try to prove out a possible het male and would definitely not try to prove out possible het females with a possible het male.
What I would do to prove out the possible females would be to use a visual or at worse a 100% het which at their current value would be better than a possible het. (even with a 100% het it could take years to prove out)
