    Nice New Rat Set-Up
Finally got the other three racks I ordered from a friend! 1-mouse rack, 1-5 level birthing/weaning rack, 3-4 level breeding racks (deep tubs). Plan on having a 1:3 in all the breeding tubs! I hope this will help my 100 a week bill for feeding almost 50 snakes! If you live in the Southern California area and would like to know who makes these racks just P.M. me. (I am not trying to sell them or help him get work). Wish I had better pictures but I'm just letting them get settled into their new homes.

I am honestly considering... Takes hours to fill up all the water but I don't feel like spending over 300 for a watering set up! where did you get yours?

i was hesitant at first so my buddy sent me some sippers. once i ran the sippers in one rack i turned around and ordered enough for the rest of my racks and future ones. i ordered ine from http://www.reptilebasics.com/
it should not run you 300 dollars if its just for what you showed in the pic. i made my own bucket adapters with pieces from the hardware store. i didnt save only about a dollar though. easier to just order it with your sippers. i bought my buckets from tractor supply. they are horse feeding buckets and have a flat side and are a little wider and shorter. if you have the head room then regular buckets work fine. 3/16 line can be bought at any hardware store.
i prefer auto watering but i wouldnt suggest it for mice. mice will pack the tips with shavings and flood you out constantly. if the bottles arent that big a deal for you then keep using them some actually prefer them. but auto watering is the only way ill ever keep rats.
