Pimping out my new PVC cages...

So I just bought some used PVC cages and I'm gonna go extreme make over style on them... They will house Hog Islands when their finished. I plan on installing RHPs, I'm talking with Pro Plastics right now. I was looking through some supplies and I came across some water based acrylic paint that I had bought when I was going to build my dragons cage. Can I paint PVC cages on the inside? I was thinking bout of doing a blue sky with clouds and then something else on the sides. Will the paint give off fumes if a Heat Panel is installed? Or if I put a finish over it will that eliminate that problem? Also I would like to put like some kind of plastic climbing pipe across the cage and a little platform up in one corner. Any ideas would really help...
