Feeding 2 small rats? Question about feeding
Life has sent me a curve ball and I'm going to have to be gone for the next 2 weeks and my wife is a little afraid to feed her. My Ball is still eating on a weekly basis and is ready for medium sized rats. I however have 2 small rats left. Should I feed her 1 small rat now and a medium in 2 weeks or feed her the 2 small now and bump her up to medium when I get back?

I'm still trying to get my wife to feed her while I'm gone, but I'm not holding my breath.

    Thanks in advance
    Matt

Hey Matt - I wouldn't worry too much about the feeding. If your wife isn't big on feeding just give your BP a nice meal before you go away and give her another one when you get back. If she is big enough to eat Medium Rats she should be able to afford to miss a meal, just my 2 cents though. Just keep that water clean and full! =)

I concur. I would feed him/her both rats and he/she will be fine.

    Regards

You could give her the two small rats, or just wait till you get back. Unless she's thin, a couple weeks isn't going to hurt her. Most of my males are fed on a two week basis.
