    Where to find a breeder?
I'm in the VERY early stages of planning an expansion to our BP family. Out of curiosity, I did a general google search for 'ball pythons for sale' and was totally blown away by pages and pages of BP sellers. I know what to look for in a good breeder (thanks to some awesome tips here!), but I have no idea how to sift through all the online breeders.

I see some names of breeders on here, and I tend to want to stick within this community because I've found more reliable info/advice here than anyplace else. Being relatively new to the world of BP's, I wouldn't want to be taken advantage of. Can anyone suggest a a solid group of established and reputable breeders (or a place where I can find a list of them)?

Here are the ones I've personally bought reptiles from:

My reptiles came to me healthy and voracious eaters. :)

You know what, There are some great BP breeders right in your area. Tom Agosta of 8 Legs Plus I think is pretty close to you in Central Jersey. He's got some amazing animals and I've been very happy with the BPs I've gotten from him. Plus he's just an all around good guy to deal with. I plan on getting some hognoses from him very soon as well as more BPs. Also The White Plains NY reptile show is just 2 weeks away on September 11th. A lot of good breeders at that show, plus you can completely bypass shipping stress.

Look for people in your area that you can deal with face to face, then if you are lucky you will wind up with a group of people you can network with in the future:gj::gj:

Heather and Robin on here are great too.
    Heather: http://www.heathersherps.com/
    Robin: http://www.reptiliapacifica.com/

I've gotten two snakes from Robin and he has been wonderful!
Heather is very speedy on email replies and is great about answering questions.

Don't get discouraged if you look at different peoples webpages and see snakes that are out of your price range or aren't the morph your looking for. Most don't have all their available snakes up and posted. Drop them an email and find out. Good luck:)
