I just moved to L.A. and in the process of getting my little gecko food I was told by an associate that I need to apply for a wild animal handlers permit and a permit for my exotic animals because of the plans I have for my herps and breeding in the future.
So I came home and hopped on the internet and couldnt find anything about what I need to do. I found the laws pertaining to illegal and restricted species and how to get a special permit for them but I didnt find anything about my plans except that I will need a business license.. which we already plan on getting.
Does anyone know what I need to do or at least where I need to go that will actually tell me what i need to be all "right" with the powers that be? Any help would be fantastic!
