fuzzy mice instead of pinkies

Can baby carpets be started out on fuzzy mice rather than pinkies?

If they are availible to you go with that. You dont want it to get accustomed to mice or feeding a full grown carpet a mouse diet is gonna be a paint. Trying to convert them over from mice to rats is gonna suck.

Im getting carpet a few months old, and its eating hopper mice. how can i switch it over to rats
