American or Russian Blue?
Hey everyone, I'd like to get some opinions. Do you think any of these 3 rats are Blues? If so, which kind of Blue do you think they are?

This girl is definitely my favorite, and I'm fairly sure is some kind of Blue. Based on her light color I want to say capped American Blue?

This girl is a little darker, I want to say hooded Russian Blue?

I'm still not sure about if this capped male is blue, maybe a dark Russian Blue? What do you think?
Any inputs are greatly appreciated.

And thanks for picture to put things in perspective. I didn't realize the American Blues were so much lighter. I'd love to find one someday and breed it with my new Russian Blues, make me some Russian Silvers:D

Like Albino and Lavender albino the two blues are different recessive genes and if you breed a Russian blue to an American blue you'll likely end up with all black kits that are double het Russian blue American blue unless another recessive trait pops up like Siamese.
I have both colors of blue in my groups and have crossed them so that my American blues carry Russian blue and my Russian blues carry American blue.
To make Silvers I bred Pink Eyed Siamese X Blue and held back blue females that carried Siamese and pink eye and then bred back to the pink eyed Siamese male.
