    Herpstat - Dropping Termperatures
    Morning All!

Just a quick one today - My original Herpstat dropped its tempertatures to 77 today for some reason. I have it set for 96 which keeps my enclosures a pretty consistent 90 and for some reason this morning when i left for work it was down to 77. All the settings seemed fine - we did have some power surges through out the night, but nothing that hasn't happened before.

Anyone else had anything similar happen??

Make sure your probe hasn't slipped out of its place. You can cook your snakes as the thermostat tries to get things back up to set temp.

What temps are your other reading devices giving you over your hot spots?

Yah I checked my probe and it was still fine - I took out my temperature gun this morning and the hot spots were right around 77 themselves. The temperatures have levelled out now and everything is back to normal, just don't know why that would have happened...
