new bp question(new here also)
I bought a few juvies at daytona sunday, set them up in a rack with hides and water bowls, and correct temperature(91 on hot side,82 on cool side ,check with temp gun),i noticed today that three out of the five i purchased has soiled there racks(cleaned imediately)now i notice that theyare very active(constantly searching)is this just exploring their new surrounding or could they possibly be hungry this soon?
thanks in advance.
btw,i seem to have misplaced my humidity gauge so not sure of the humidity, but the sides of the tubes has moisture on them so i am assuming the humidty is high.

Hi, I don't know whether they are hungry or not - maybe someone else can chime in on at that but regarding the condensation on the tub - that is not a good thing - you need to add more holes to the tubs to let more air flow in.
Too high humidity that causes condensation will lead to illness.

Re: new bp question(new here also)
If the humidity is still too high after you drilled the additional holes - you could also try to use a smaller water dish - they don't need to be able to soak in their dish - just big enough to drink out of.
The humidity number can read high just as long as you don't have that condensation dripping down the walls of the tub.
Hope this info helps.
