Adult Enclosure?

A friend of mine and I have decided to purchase a Burm together. I'm going to purchase it as a baby male and house it in tubs until he can be kept in his permanent enclosure. What would be the ideal measurements for the adult enclosure? I've seen Burms kept in smaller confined areas as adult, as in some racks, but I've also seen them in huge enclosures around 10ft (length).

We have been reading up on care sheets and I also have cared for babies/juvies a while ago. I'm gonna pay for the snake as my friend is gonna buy everything it needs -- as well as the heating, supplies, food, etc. Been wanting one of these for so long now:D! I finally feel like it's time to get one, and with another person willing to help out as it gets larger is pretty sweet.

Got another month to keep up with the research and buy everything before the purchase!:snake: Granite will be the ultimate decision:gj:

I keep my male (13-14 feet) currently in an 8x4x2. He is moving shortly to a 6x6x2. Tubs (IMHO) are no good for giants, and neither are the premade "giant" enclosures. They are modeled after human convenience, not animal happiness ;)

Sweet... my friend just bought a female burm baby and I picked her out and named her eden so she is part mine :) he has an adult I think In the same size as listed above

Thanks for the measurements :D! I'm looking into purchasing a vision enclosure or something nicer as an adult enclosure so I can put it aside for when he gets around 7 feet. Maybe something from AP or Boaphile:gj:

She looks bigger than 14', and I don't think that enclosure is big enough. When she poops, how can she get away from it?

Nope only 14' 2". When she poops not only is she 8' away from it, it's cleaned right away. I dont want my office smelling or taking a chance of scale rot by just leaving her crawling through it.
