    Feeding the malnourished
Don't have a weight yet, still need to get a scale.
But some oppions are greatly needed.

Igbo is very skinny almost no muscle tone. How often should a malniurished bp be feed to get to a healthy size? I have been recomended to feed 2 hoppers twice week for any where between a couple months to maybe even six months. I most concerned with how often. And when to switch to a different sized prey. I was told he was three but looks abiut the size of two year old maybe a but small for that as well, about 24 inches long.

Any advice would be very helpful.

In my experience, I see faster growth when feeding rats. People will argue it makes no difference, I'm just stating my experience. Whether the growth rate and food is correlated or not I do not know. I suggest switching to rats, and feeding on a 5 day schedule. Good luck!

What's the back-ground on Igbo? Have you posted it somewhere?

If Igbo is an adult, be VERY careful not to over feed him/her. Start small and slow, and feed once a week. You don't want to over do it too quickly. He'll be hungry and it will be hard trying not to break down and feed him more often. But building them back up slowly on small rats will be healthier for his recovery.

I have very little and sketchy background on him. Was told he was three years old. Fed once every three weeks a hopper to keep him small. I have had him for 13 days. He had bad old shed when I got him. Got its cage temps and humidity stable and he produce a full shed three days ago. He looks so much better. Do not know his sex so for now he is a he. My priority has been to get him stable. We have fed him twice. He was used to live mice and took to f/t eagerly.

Other than super skinny he is looking very good now. Clear eyes and nose. Mouth looks good. Now we are looking for long term health and comfort.
