I am starting to freak out. Day 57. Incubator 89 degrees. All dimpleing. All have red viens when candled. 6 eggs. Is this too long? When should I cut? This is my first and only clutch by accident. I have no idea what im doing if I did need to cut.

What temps are you incubating at? never mind . But no 57 days is not too long, you should be seeing pips any day now.

Do you see any movement when candling? You can cut now to check whats going if you like. Just be ready to keep an eye on the eggs and replace any lost fliud until they come out on their own

If you see movement, then there's nothing to worry about. Just be patient. They'll start pipping when they're ready. :)

Take a pic of the eggs and put them up too.. How much dimpling are you getting?

I always cut at day 55. But you have to be comfortable doing it.. I use small cutters. if you have dimpling you should be able edge the egg and cut along it very lightly..

My first clutch this year pipped at day 63. Leave them alone they'll pip on their own. I promise. No need to worry. There's movement all the eggs look good. They're ok.

Don't worry, they come out when they want to, not when you do;)
55 days is on the earlier side. I figure around 60 days and feel lucky if its sooner.

    I cut the eggs tonight.
Looks like 5 good for sure. One smaller egg has a very small pinkish snake in it. Maybe dead - no movement but veins look good. I cannot tell. They are all smaller than I was expecting and the egg cutting was really gross. I put them back in the incubator. Should I put the press and seal back on top of the containter thats inside the HovaBator or leave it off so they can get more air? I do not know how you guys can tell what type of snakes you have when they are in the eggs. I can barley see them.
