I know with most snakes and at least ball pythons they should not be housed together. But I was wondering if it is ok with blood pythons to house a mating pair maybe together.

No. They will be in competition for the best basking/hide spots. This will cause undue stress. Also if one gets ill the other will get it as well. There are other issues a well, but these are the main ones.

There are really NO snakes in the pet trade that do well communally. Actually, there are practically no snakes in existence that do well communally. I'd just stick to housing them one by one :gj:
P.S. great choice if you get a blood, they're awesome snakes! :)

The only semi community snake are garters. But even those I keep seperate.
