How do you keep yourself in check???
Lets just say, I cannot set myself on "ONE" plan!?!?!
BUT I am also in a situation that could take several directions and I am not a very patient person.
I got into balls almost a year ago and most of you have seen the pics I have posted so you know them:D
My situation is:
Females:
Normal
0.7
two of these are proven breeders, one of the breeders is a rescue with a mild belly burn and I am going to keep her in QT for a total of 4 or 5 months. I have already had her for about 6 weeks, the guy I got her from was a TOTAL idiot and I bought her just to get her out of the situation, regardless of the fact that I dont know if she will ever breed after the belly burn??
Pastel
0.1 still have at least a year wait
Mojave
0.1 hatchling so TOO many years to wait:weirdface:weirdface
VPI Granite
0.1 proven breeder
Males:
Breedable
Granite
1.0
Pastel
1.0
Spider
1.0
100% Albino
1.0
Males:
need a little more weight
Yellow Belly
1.0
Orange Ghost
1.0
Males:
heatchlings
Lesser
1.0
Mojave
1.0
I know this will be my first season and I really want to get some eggs on the ground to experience the good and the bad that can happen.
As you can see, we have gotten into a lot in the past year:O The problem is what direction do I or should I head??
I am thinking of rotating the pastel and spider to one of or both normals (if the belly burn is all taken care of by then)? I know this will leave me with a lot of normal hatchlings.
I am also wanting to prove out the granites as genetic and see if I can luck out on a super granite. Problem there is I have not been able tofind much information on the supers. Is it just one of those washed out old morphs that no one is dealing with anymore? Would it be a waste of my time? I am not wanting to get rich by any means but I dont see too much going on with the granite. So is there some place I am missing?
The only set plans I have are for the male lesser and female mojo, I AM GETTING MY BEL!!!!:D:D:gj:
I also know that when I bought my OG, I didnt know too much about dom/rec genes BUT after seeing what the OG can do to other morphs it is something I am really wanting to work with, just takes SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo long:tears::tears::tears:
Really I am just looking for some advice on a good direction to take. I dont want to add any more to the group till I have a season done. It would also be nice to know that there are others out there with my same scattered a.d.d. I want two of everything:oops::oops:

Re: How do you keep yourself in check???
Your female with the belly burn should be able to produce. I went to visit Brian Gundy's breeding facility yesterday and he has a 10 year old normal that he rescued that had a severe belly burn and she had half a tail. He said she is probably the best breeder he has today so far.
Side note: Brian Gundy's line "Gold Blush" mojave is really a amazing morph. The colors he has produced is really something else.
