    is this normal
I just got my first BP yesterday and all she does is hide in the corner outside of the hide. I have her in a 15qt tub my temps are good 93 on the warm side and 83 on the cool side. Is this normal?

I think it's normal for her to be inactive and want to hide while she's getting accustomed to her new place. My BP Jackson has 3 hides and he really favors the one that is most snug around his body. She might be more comfortable in a tight little hide, so if the one you have doesnt fit, maybe find her a smaller one. Your temps sound pretty good! If you haven't already, I seriously recommend investing in a thermostat, they are well worth the money.

Of course a new snake won't be as active for several weeks after bringing her home, but check on her at night as well (an hour or two after lights out?). Some of my BPs are active all day long, but some seem to really stretch their metaphorical legs at night.
