So this is disappointing, the female A. Metallica my wife was so successful in getting a good lock with our male, molted today. She was showing all of the signs of being ready to drop an egg sack, but didn't.
The male isn't laying down any more sperm webbing, so I think he may be done. Or should we try again after she recovers from the molt? Any advice? If not, anyone in the Denver Metro area have a MM Metallica they want to pair off? :rolleyes:
