    Dexter's First Crap
Well I was holding my new baby bp Dexter (he's about a month n a half old) and he decided to release his last meal all over my arm lol. Glad to see him pass his food with no problem. I have a really active young bp. Is this normal? Do snakes usually crap outta no where or was he telling me that he was stressed from being held? It's been 2 1/2 days since his last meal and he ate an extremely small mouse. Any advice or info is appreciated =]

Probably not from his most recent meal and they don't really think about when they go, far as I know.

You usually have a very short window. It's a lot like when a little kid goes in their diaper. Constant movement and action, sudden stop, then a present.

My snake will be moving around her tank, then suddenly she'll just freeze. Not settle down, but dead stop freeze, head still elevated at whatever height it was a moment ago. That's the sign that I'll be cleaning the tank in a bit.

yea Cody crapped on my leg once and then the other day we had him on the floor moving around and I noticed his tail was raised and sure enough out came both a large puddle of pee and the other special gift right on the carpet. I thought only my undisciplined chihuahuas crapped on the floor every once in a while...:D

You'll quickly learn to pay attention to the bulge in the nether regions and pass on handling when you see it. :P

We've probably all gone through this initiation. I choose very carefully who I decide to handle and who I don't, based on the degree of swelling by the vent. :)

Yea when Cody crapped on the carpet I actually said "Look at the bulge in his tail area and his tail up in the air. I bet he's gonna crap." Sure enough about 30 seconds later, Merry Christmas. :D
