    Dimpled scales in Borneo pythons
    Shalom everyone....

I would like to know if it is too high of humidity OR too low of humidity that causes dimpled scales in Borneo pythons......

PLEASE PRIVATE MESSAGE ME SO I CAN READ YOUR REPLIES WHILE I AM ON MY BREAKS DURING WORK TOMORROW !!!

Her temps are good 78-82 ambient hot spot of 86.....the humidity reads 78% but it varies. She is on cypress mulch in a tub.

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH !

Dimpled eye scales or regular scales?

Dimpled eyes means too low, though not necessarily

Dimpled scales means too high or too low, either one

Eyes are fine....just has dimpled scales on her body. I was just really looking for a definite too high or too low.

    Thanks....

There is no more DEFINITE answer than the one I gave you.

Most people like to keep humidity around 60% or a little higher.

This can cause dimpled eye scales in the snakes but you just dont pay any attention to it.

When they are TOO dry, they're eyes can dimple but their scales can dimple too.

When they are TOO wet, their scales will dimple up in the same fashion.

You just have to find the balance point for your animals in their current setup.
