    odd color belly
I have a lesser platinum, and today I went in to weigh him as he has not been eating (going on over a month here) to make sure that he was not dropping weight. Well when I got him out his belly which is usually white, was an odd brownish pinkish color. I know they usually get discolored bellies when starting the shed cycle, but I found this odd as he has not eaten in a while. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Also, his temps are fine I made sure to check that twice.

I've had BPs fast for over a month and still shed. Is the color what you normally have seen before shed, or is this different? Is it just one section? Can you get a picture?

I'll try to snap a pic tomorrow, but it does cover his entire belly, but is seems darker than normal for some reason. He probably is just going into shed, but with the whole eating thing I am just a little paranoid.
