What is everyones opinion on feeding in a separate tank or in their enclosure?
I want people thoughts on this. When I first got snakes a couple of years ago I did research and found that a lot of people said to feed in a separate tank. Well after being tagged twice by my guys while getting them into their feeding tanks I am having my doubts. Lol. My Lana has been the sweetest thing since I got her over a month ago, she is a hatchling. But so mellow. Well tonight I saw her tensing when I put her in her feeding tank tonight and bam she got me. Little stinker:rolleyes: Of course its nothing bad and barely felt it. But still, not a habit I want her to get into. And it was my male that got me a couple of weeks ago. So which is better? Feed in their normal tanks or in separate tanks?

I take them out to feed, but do not put them in a seperate tank. As soon as they take their meal, I wait about 20 minutes and move them back into their tub. Never had a problem so far :)

Feed in their own home unless you just like getting tagged ;)

This topic is asked as least 1-2 times a week.

Search is there for a reason to minimize clutter.
