    Sometimes the internet can be a bad thing...
    I just found a craigslist ad for someone who was looking to trade their boa for a ball python. They were told it would only grow to 6-7ft when they bought it, but they had been doing research online and now think that it will reach 9-11ft so they want to get rid of it before it hurts their 2 small children.

    I replied to the ad and told them that they most likely had a common boa which would not get that big. I can't wait to see if I get a reply.

    It would be really nice if pet stores stopped selling common boas as redtail boas, because if you do a google search for redtail boa you get info on the 9-11ft BCCs. :rolleyes:
