    Sperm Plugs ?
Hey there, I got kind of a confusing question, well confusing to me anyways. I have a normal ball python, not quite sure how old he is, but about 4 feet long. about a week ago i found out that he has snake mites and i have been treating him with 'natural chemistry reptile relief' anyways when i was cleaning him off my mom went to take a look at his vent to see if the bugs were around there too and she accidentally popped his sperm plug, im not sure if it detached or whatever but ever since then he has been pooping out this white gooey stuff... im not sure if thats normal ?

I think you're confusing sperm plugs with something else...white gooey stuff sounds more like urates...

Perhaps she actually hurt a hemipenes and it is Leaking sperm? I don't know if that is actually possible. Normally a sperm plug is kind of cheesy and hard. But I have pooped a couple males and they expelled a plug that wasn't dried and it was white and gooey.

If you google 'ball python sperm plugs' and check the images, you'll get a better idea of what they actually look like. A sperm plug looks like semi-dried up snot to me. lol
