You should wait at least 24 hours after the snake has eaten to handle it. Me, personally, I always wait 48 hours after my snakes have eaten.

I always wait 2 days, especially if it was a large meal to digest. Much earlier than that and you risk regurgitation.

I wait until I'm ready to handle them and none have ever re-gurged because of it.
I don't make it a ritual to handle them much after they eat but I don't buy the whole regurge thing "just because you handle them"
Over 3 years of handling them anytime I want has resulted in zero regurges, hmmmm makes me wonder how many regurges other people have had because of handling, not "my friend had one", but actual experiences.

The fact is they enjoy resting on their hot spots after eating so why handle then if you don't need to, but regurge? Really?

*I should add I feed small meals almost always*

i wait a couple of hours (8-9), never had any regurge before....
but it's really no use of handling them right after a meal, they just wanna relax then so... better let the snake do what he/she wants....

I wait a day or so go handle mine. I watched an episode of Snakebytes and Brian was saying that waiting that long to handle was a myth. Don't quote me but I think he said to wait at least six hours after feeding. I sill have to pull it up and watch it again.

I normally let them sit for a few hours before handling, I agree with snakesRkewl. Ive never had one regurgitate a meal and ive handled them as soon as a couple hours after. (Prob not the best idea.) But ive never had an issue.

We usually wait a day or so. The snakes just aren't quite interested in being handled right after they eat and I know how I feel after a big dinner so it just seems nicer to let them get in a warm spot to digest, let them take a nice cool drink from their water bowl and just chill out in a safe zone. Plus, we feed at night and usually after feeding I go home and we then go to bed. The next day or so we'll decide to go pick one of them up again :D
