    7 months 1 week and 5 days.
Is the exact amount of time it took me to join the bite club.

It was my own fault, I was in a hurry getting ready to go to work when I noticed my not so little girl had made a mess in her water bowl. Normally I take out the hide she is in and take her out then change out the water and put her and everything back. Today I just reached in to grab the water bowl, inadvertainly dangling a nice warm finger right outside the entrance to the hide she was in at the time. Tomorrow is feeding day and I think when she saw the heat signature right outside her door that was more than she could handle.

Like everyone has said before it really did not hurt at all but it startled me so I did scream like a little girl and jerk my hand back. I handled her and checked out her mouth immediately afterward and she seems fine. I did not have my camera working so I did not get a picture of it but it was just 4 little puncture wounds.

Just wanted everyone to know I am in the club now, and it might not be smart to dangle warm fingers outside your snakes hide the day before feeding day.
