    Fireball x Pastel?
I've seen a picture of a fire pastel but not much else. Does anyone have a link to more information or pictures for me? I think that come next year this could be my first breeding pair. Thanks, guys!

EDIT: Facepalm. Fireflys. Lol. Well, still, anybody here have any opinions on them?

I am a huge fan of the Firefly. Just picked one up for a future female breeder.

Thread where I posted a pick or two

Also check out www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/... Site is undergoing maintenance right now though.

Just a quick note.... It is a "fire ball python", or fire. Not fireball :) That would be confusing, almost sounds like a new morph name.

Woops. Guess I like the named fireball rather than fire ball. Lol. I will avoid that in the future. I am 95% sure I'm about to pick up a pastel female and a fire male. I've also been offered an adult male pastel along with the young female pastel for $210 so not sure what to do there...I mean, seems like a good idea, right? :D

If that's the case though, I would have to pick up another female for the pastel male to mate with...

I think you should invent a line of fire and name it fireball ;)

Here's hoping a mutation can pop up down the line! I think that after this year is through I want to try for some fireflys and (if I can get an adult female by the time) black eyed leucistics! May be a tad ambitious for now, but hey, why not?The fire line really interests me.

EDIT: Hey, Jess, I was checking out some of your pictures on FB after following your link and noticed you were thinking about starting a dubia colony. I would definitely have to vouch for them, I use them to feed my Mountain Dragons. They are quiet and don't need much space once egg crate/cardboard is added. I like to just cut up old boxes and poke a pencil or something through them all so that they stand in a line (I can show you a picture if you want) and it becomes a perfect place for them to stay while also having their mess drop straight to the bottom for easy cleaning.

    Awesome! I appreciate that :)
Good luck with your breeding endeavors :)

I'd personally pass on the male pastel and use that money on another female, unless you think you'll use a male pastel in future projects and this is a bargain. :) I love fireflies personally, and superflies are awesome! Fire also does some really neat things to the colours of other morphs.

That's very true. I do need a fire female. With any luck maybe the guy who has those fire males would be willing to part with one for the right price. It would be nice to have a pastel male as well though. In addition, someone's offered me a normal ball for $50 who I could produce more pastels from. Ah, so many decisions. At the moment only the young fire male and young pastel female are set. After that...Actually, now that I think about it the fire male would have dibs on those females, so perhaps I will hold back.
