Feeding

I feed my BP in a separate cage for multiple reasons but he hasn't eaten in the past ten days. I tried feeding him two days ago but he just sat in his feeding tub and did nothing. I missed his normal feeding day which should have been Saturday due to me being busy. I tried Sunday with no success and tried feeding again Monday but he didn't eat either. Monday was my fault for him not eating. I cleaned his tank Monday and I'm sure it spooked him a little. I decided to wait a day for him to calm down and it would put him back on his normal schedule.
I fed him today and he gladly took the mouse. I feed one F/T fuzzy every five days. He has done this before where he will skip a day of feeding but will eat the next feeding day. I have only had him about a month and I did my research but learn new things all the time.

I guess my question is, while feeding what temperature should the mouse be? Should it be warm to the touch or some other temperature? It seems to me that when the mouse is thawed if I put it under the heat lamp until it is no longer cold to the touch he seems to more readily take his food. Can somebody share their technique for thawing and feeding that seems to work? Maybe you guys have better ways to do it than I do.

It appears you are attempting feeding too often, and switching him to a separate tub is stressing him out. Wait 5-7 days between attempts and feed in his enclosure. The mouse/rat should be about 100 degrees.

Yeah, when I have a snake refuse a meal I wait until their next scheduled feeding day (5 to7 days, depending on which snake). And like LGray mentioned feeding ball pythons in a seperate tank can cause them to stress and refuse meals. Typically this feeding method is not suggested for Ball Pythons since they can be so picky when it comes to eating.

I fed again tonight and he seemed to happily eat. The mouse was warm to the touch all the way around and I think that may have helped. Thanks guys for all the help.
