Had you asked me 10 years ago I would have said wolf or tiger, but I now realize just how dangerous those can be to own so that dream has faded. :P

Edit: I changed my mind, I would love to own an Orac.

Wow, that's a tough one.

There are so many animals I wanted as a kid, but after having experiences with them over the years I've changed my mind time and time again. Not like I could house or care for an Amur Tiger or Fiordland Penguin. ;)

Love birds of prey, maybe a Ferruginous Hawk or Peregrine Falcon.

Chickens.

I hate living in town with all of the restrictions. If I could have a coop with 3 or 4 hens, I would love it. Fresh eggs taste so much better than the ones that come in little styrofoam caskets.

2nd choice: A plain common old American crow. The most entertaining pet I ever had was a crow raised from the pinfeather stage, a victim of logging.

Theres to many to choose from. The one animal that i always wanted to have as a kid was an american alligator but then i got 2. Hahha now i dont know. Right now i really want a Leuistic Black eyed ball python. Or a Timberwolf.
