Is colored news paper bad to use?
Ive read and some articles that newspaper that has color you shouldn't use as substrate. Does it matter if it colored like a target ad?

I used printed news paper for a while and the only problem I had was it started turning my snakes bellies gray. I now use packing paper which is pretty much unprinted news paper because I like it when my spider's whites are actually white. :P

Most newsprint uses vegetable based die but I avoid for the stated reason...the colors will bleed into your snake!

    Hi,

I use printed newspaper and have never had a problem with the colour bleeding onto the scales.

Then again I let it sit in a pile and by the time it is used it can be up to 6 months old.

Maybe if I ever manage to get a BEL or pied I will see it.
