    Aggressive Female Ball
I'm fairly new to the site and new to ball pythons. This season was my first breeding season I had a female who laid for me was really easy nice going girl (didn't even strike or hiss during egg removal). Now I have been feeding her to get her back up to weight she eats a medium rat every 5-7 days. Anyways since laying I can barely open her bin to throw in a rat she attacks everything and anything. I tried to hook her out to clean but she is just really upset. Any ideas when or if she will ever calm down again?

Did you clean her and the tub to remove the scent of the eggs? It could be that she's mad she can't find her eggs.

I've had a few females that seemed a little more aggresive after laying, especially at feeding time. I figured they were just really hungry. They eventually calmed down...

Whoops sorry should of stated that yes it was cleaned out and I actually moved her to a different rack all together. Sine laying end of April she has eaten 14 med-large rats and several small ones my other balls didn't eat. I can't even get a rat to touch the tub she snatches them in mid air she is so aggressive and strikes at everything. She doesn't stop even after noticing it's not food.
