Project change, to sell or or not to sell my spider.

Well, basically, I got an adult spider thinking that I would be able to buy and adult female pasteland get a bee as well but I wasn't able to find one so I ended up getting a female pastel hatchling and a female normal hatchling.

Now I am thinking that I will sell my 2 year old spider which I just bought as sn adult a few months back and just get a hatchling bee female and a male pastel also. Now I will have all hatchlings and they will grow together and be breedable at least 2 years from now rather than wait for my current pastel to grow up and by the time my spider wil already be 4 years old. anyway, breeding a bee and a pastel, I will eventually get a new spider also right?

The reason I got to this point is I saw female bumble bees available at a good price (Philippine price) and someone really wants my adult spider for his projects this year.

At least they will be all '11s snakes. You think this is a good idea? :)

I will end up with a pastel male to breed with me female normal, female pastel and female bee 2 years from now. Wachathink?

balls can live up to 20-30 years of age.. at 4 hes still a pup.. id keep him.. but if you really dont care about the snake sell him off and get more to your collection..

If e spider is a he, which I assume so, I will sell him.

I think you should get the bee, but wait until next year to get your male. You could save up and get a nice super pastel male too. Males are ready to breed much sooner than females so having a male that is a year younger is fine.

It's not that I don't care, it's that ball pythons here are ridiculously priced as of the moment. Also, the buyer is a friend who has more money than me and he needs this guy more for his current projects. I only started this hobby this year that's why I wanna get it right and hopefully with BP.net I will. If had the money to buy the hatchling bee,I will not sell Spidey, but I don't for now and this opportunity just presented itself when I saw the female bee.

I still really am confused.

Yes he is a male spider. Good idea also on the holding off on getting the male :)

Hi,

If he is a friend and has animals ready to breed why not do a breeding loan instead?

That way you could get your bee for free and a female spider or pastel into the bargain.

Just have a good agreement in writing so that everyone goes into it with their eyes open.

On a realistic note, he is in the Philippines and a breeder size pastel female might not be in his budget right now since people will be holding off on their big girls for a high high price there.



i would say do a breeding loan, sounds like a better idea then just getting rid of your spider male. You never know when he might come in handy.

I forgot to mention, someone did offer me an adult 08 pastel female (not yet proven) but he sold it to me at Php 45,000.00 that's about $1071 and the price of a new Bumblebee hatchling is only about $833. So I found it funny that I would buy this to hopefully produce a bee when I can just go ahead and buy a bee at a cheaper price :(

Yes, having him stud instead is a very good suggestion. Someone has offered me already to stud my spider to two normal females and I would get the spiders that would come out or the normals if there aren't any. As for the interested buyer, I yet have to ask him if he would allow to stud it instead of buying it and to what would I get.
