popping

so i just tryed popping for the first time like 5 minutes ago and im not sure how it went. when i first started it looked like a drop of urine came out but after a little more pressure and squeezing wat looked like sperm shot out. i never saw any hemipenes come out so im not sure wat happened. any advice is helpful.

If it was an older snake, then it could very well have been sperm that shot out. It's not uncommon for mature males to release sperm plugs when they're being popped.

no its only about 4-6 months old so it mite be too early to sex

No, you should still be able to sex it, they can be sexed pretty well from hatching. At 4-6 months it could be a male that's starting sperm production early or it could be that it was just urates that weren't fully formed.

ok well he want too fond of me popping him so ill try it again tomorrow and see wat happens. thnx for the help
