    snake room temp?
    For those of you who have rooms dedicated to ball pythons, what temp do u keep the room? I just set mine up a few weeks ago and have been keeping it atleast 80. So what is the preferred temp to set heaters at?

    i keep mine set at 80 year round.

    80 is fine. it will be warmer in the enclosure where you have a heat source.

    During the summer the room naturally reaches 85 to 88 so it's perfect and during that time I do not provide a hot spot.

    During the winter I keep the room at 77/78 degrees and provide a hot spot.

    I try to keep mine at 80 but its a constant battle with the dial on the heater
