    Flexwatt vs heat tape
I see these two mentioned everyday in the posts i read.. Tried a search to no avail(tapatalk). Just wondering what the difference is and how you guys feel they compare. With both ease of use.. Reliability and install skill required..

Hey, Flexwatt is just a brand of heat tape. It's easy to use, install, and is reliable. Hope that helps. :)

I use flexwatt. Works great for me. Installation was a pain, I ruined a few feet of it trying to get the hang of soldering but once I figured it out it wasn't too bad.

If you are worried about soldering, you can purchase connector clips instead, so you don't have to mess with that. It is a little annoying.

Those clips are crap, just solder it and save yourself from possible problems.

helix will even solder them for you
