hatch date?

Is the hatch date the day a snake pips or the day it completely exits the egg? Trying to record birthdays for my wee ones. :)

I believe it's the date they emerge from the egg, but I could be wrong. :oops:

I record the day they come out of the egg.

That's what I was thinking but wanted to know what others were doing, thanks.
