Just throw it in and leave it
So my girl is "eating" rats now. I mean I haven't seen her eat in weeks, but they always disappear. F/T BTW. So yea, now, I'm just going to thaw, heat up to temp, drop them in and leave. It is useless dangling them there, making them do the zombie dance for half an hour reheating them when I will just end up leaving them there overnight to find them gone the next morning. So I have resolved myself to just stop the dramatics and drop them in for her to posture around and make me think shes going to strike when we both know better.
Re: Just throw it in and leave it
sounds like a plan. i have noticed that about half of the balls i have dealt with that eat frozen thawed dont want them dangledaround and dancing. they want them delivered like Dominoes. drop it and leave if she eats it then your golden.
i feed live o i dont have to do the f/t dance anymore. it took up way to much time when feeding 40+ snakes.

I do the same thing. I have tried dangling, zombie dance and nothing happens. I leave the rat in and after about an hour, I see him eating eat.
Re: Just throw it in and leave it
The same thing happened to me last month with a f/t rat. I got tired of doing the zombie dance with the rat so I decided to leave it in overnight, right by the entrance of his hide. When I looked in the morning it was gone! No more Zombie dancing for me!:banana:
