    Grouping of weaning asfs?
I know that asfs are a colony structured animal. Surrounding a breeding group. Curious though if i would be able to group my same sex weanligs together in the same tubs or if i should be breaking them down into smaller groups based on age and litter date.

We organize our feeder tubs by week and have 20-30 random sex ASFs in each tub. They range from weanlings to 2-3 month old adults. It's fine just start them early.

I have five breeder groups going. All my weanligs go into female or male only tubs. After that i start a new breeder group 1.5 and feed the older groups off after two
    litters.

About every six months i try to mix in new blood lines.

Yeh what i was hoping to do was keep my enclosures to a minimum. I have a 2.4 breeding group and dont want any more. Just to sort out the weanlings. Idealy id like to be able to just put them all together if possible.. Breeding in one.. Females in one.. And males in one.. But id run the issue of infighting introducing new weanlings into exsisting tuba with adults

I have tubs of 100's of all males and all females. grow outs and adults mixed. Never have any fighting.

My breeding tubs are usually 8-10 males and 25-30 females. Sounds cruel, but I just let them fight out who is top dog, and let the chips land where they may... Usually end up with a couple of maimed males that I feed off.

I wean mine in little mouse lab cages until I see some size on them and then sort them by sex. I used to put them all together after getting a little size but they get a little bit mean I guess when there getting close to breeding age. I let them get a little bigger before feeding off but I only have 4 snakes that I feed them to.

I've got 10 1.2 breeder groups going continually, and all the new weans go into a very large aquarium until they get some size on them. Once they get a bit bigger, I seperate them out by sex into my feed trough system where they stay until they're fed off. By that time, they've been quite used to having other new rats of similar size join them, so I'm able to add to any of the tanks as I need to.

I rotate breeders out once I see production starting to slow down.

You can keep them all together as long as you don't let any get to the age where they start breeding. Once breeding starts, problems start.
