    Hog island boa prices?
I'm going to the east coast reptile expo on august 27th. Any body know how much a baby hog island boa would go for? All I want is a normal it's a pet not for a breeding project! Thanks guys

As a baseline for you, mine was a yearling and cost $150 through a breeder. I have yet to see any at a show because I am trying to find a female. I see mostly Colombian Bci's and x's

I have seen pure hog island boas go for anywhere from $100 for neonates up to the thousands for morphs. If you are just looking for a normal baby expect to pay around $100-150.

Depending on lineage, quality, etc., they can go for quite a lot. Hoggs are beautiful boas. I'd say expect to pay at least $100.

Still going to pick one up?

For sure go with a normal, they are gorgeous without ruining their genetics! You will be amazed with them and how their colors change.
I picked up a 4wk old female for $125 earlier this month.

Depends on the breeder and the animal. I picked up a '10 male hypo/hog island cross from PMHerps at the Hamburg show in June for $220. I know he had several more at that show, and I just checked the vendor list for the show on the 27th and he will be there. Paul has some VERY nice animals. Definitely worth a look if you're considering a hog...
