    How to post images
Not sure if this has been done already, but hey I like writing how-to's :)

I am going to use photobucket as an example but it will work for most photo hosting available on the internet. I have used Photobucket, Google, Imageshack and a few others and they all work.

    Step 1. Upload your image.
Doesnt matter where, just somewhere we can all see it.

Step 2. View your image on the web page you uploaded it to.
In my case it looks like this:
    https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-D...2307954015.png

Dont mind my daughter, she was enjoying her first birthday cake.

    Step 3. Get the link
In the case of photobucket they provide the link we need right on their page. In the above image I highlighted the link you need in a red box. This is the link to the image only and not the page you are on. It looks like this, minus the space in the first IMG tag. I had to add that in so that the tags would show up.
    Code:

    [ IMG]http://i1014.photobucket.com/albums/af268/jarradw84/DSCF1720.jpg[/IMG]
You can also get this link a few others ways. The way I use most often on sites that do not provide the link for you is to right-click on the image and then copy the image URL. It is important you select the image URL and not the page URL. This should be the same as the one we got earlier minus the [IMG] tags.

Once you have that URL for the image you can insert it into the forum here using the button or by adding the tags around it.

Hopefully this helps anyone having issues, if you have questions please ask here or shoot me a PM. Happy uploading!

Doh! I didn't see any when I did a quick look. Please tell me they aren't in the BP Pictures area... Ok Doing a quick search I did find some more via the search bar. O well, I like writing How-to docs so no skin off my back and maybe it will help a few people :)

    Lol Nah,

We moved them to the sticky subforum in site info during a clean up.

And no worries - the more times we put the info on the site the more likely it is to be found and help someone - I honestly wasn't having a go at you or anything. :)

I actually have a how to as one of my saved "insta posts" as it comes up that regularly. :gj:
