    My first shed experience
    I was a little worried about my little Bathory shedding because I was a having slight humidity issues, but after 4 days of being in her hide all the time she shed perfectly, eye caps and all! :D

    Thank you everyone who helped me with my humidity issues. This site is amazing and has taught me so much!

    Was she in her warm hide? Because mine might just do the same and its my first shed also

    She switched hides towards the end of the shed. She mainly stayed on the cool side but the day before she actually shed she moved to the warm side.

    Oh man! Mine is going to shed any time now, his eyes just went clear yesterday. Its my first, too. I am so anxious to see how it goes! I'm glad to hear yours went well!

    oh man, it went really well! not all in one piece, but it did all come off without assistance. I'm glad you have your humidity under control!

    That's good! Yeah my set up was for a mid sized boa so it's kinda big so it was hard to keep the humidity up. I know they are suppose to get stressed from having to big of a living space but she has no problems. She is out of her hide all the time slinking around and climbing up things :)

    Mine had a hard time shedding because i didnt really have anything ruff for him rub on. but he got his eye caps off and then i assisted him and it all came off then. im prepared for the nex shed though :)
