I now have 2 bps that will eat a F/T rat without making it do the zombie dance. Yeah! Makes life so much easier when you can just throw the dead rat in and expect it gone in the morning. I wish all my snakes would adopt this rule:gj:

I still do the dance just because...Last week though my grown male turned his nose and would not strike. I thought he was going to go off feed? Decided just to lay it in front of his hide. Walked off for few, came back and it was gone. This week he was back to nailing it as always...

My House Snake I believe is like that... 3 weeks he was scared of "dancing zombie fuzzy" last week after dance i put fuzzy in his coils and left it there .. hour later fuzzy magically disappeared and nice bulge inside of him appeared:P
This week I'm going to serve him nice fuzzy on front of his hide on tiny plastic cup cover like on plate :rofl::rofl: and see what will happen :D

My new little female bp does not like the zombie dance one bit! She will not strike at the rat pup if I do not hold it still. If she doesn't strike at her food, I have learned that she will not eat it at all.

I have one that will only eat if I put the rat in and leave it. No dance, no wiggle, nothing. Just cover the Aspen and lay the rat there. 20 mins later, all gone!
