    HIGH humidity Need advice.
Ok so I have my two newest snakes that I just got off of craigslist in the tubs they came in. I have no heat source in on the tubs since its about 88-90 in the room through the day and mid to low 80's at night. My temperature/humidity gauge is register the humidity at 99%. All i have in the tubs is a bowl of water and a hide. One bowl is small since the snake is small. The other is larger cause the snake is larger.
What should I do to bring the humidity down?

How many holes do you have in your tubs?
What kind of bedding are you using?
    Are you seeing condensation?

They have a whole bunch of holes all the way around. However they are really small holes, almost pen size. I'm using newspaper as substrate and there is no condensation.

Use a soldering gun and do this

add a few at a time, then measure humidity, then add more if needed til the humidity is at desired level.

Well i drilled 2 rows of holes, a little more spaced out then yours. I'll try to add some more tomorrow. The humidity is now between 80-82. Thanks for the help.

    lol, Photobucket album.

Be careful drilling holes, the drill bit can crack the plastic. I guess a soldering gun is a must have when you use tubs lol

Yeah i had 2 - 3 cracks. Nothing large enough for the snake to get through. but the humidity is much better today its in the mid 50s

I do very similar hole styles a bit lower on one end than the other and a bit farther apart. I regulate humidity in the room not in the tub. High humidity is only a problem if the air is allowed to stagnate and sit still it doesn't look like you will have that problem!
