    Yes, owner before this guy left a rat in the enclosure. Healed but has scars, but is a proven breeder I'm told.

    holy crap.. how many rats were in his cage ?? and for how long?? that looks like it would take months for a single rat to do that much damage..

    Are you sure this story is accurate?? And would you really want to purchase something from someone who would neglect their animal that badly??

    yes rat bites can happen.. but THAT was not just a quick "bite"

    Rats can do some serious damage in a short time if they want to. That could have been one night for sure. That's why I never feed live unsupervised.

    To the OP...Looks like it could be Het Red to me.
