$50 Investment lands me 3 snakes.1 Mojave, possible morph, and 1 norm take a look
So I found a guy on craigslist selling a 1 year old Mojave male and a 3 year old female normal. He wanted $100 for the Mojave and $50 for the female. Well im very tight with my money. He also said he would trade for a large tank. So I found someone else selling a 2 year old normal male with a 75 gallon tank and a nice wooden stand along with a 30 gallon all for $50.
I bought the snake and everything with it. The poor thing was well underfeed.
I ended up talking the guy with the Mojave into trading me the Mojave and his female for the 75 gallon tank and stand. So i kept the 30 gallon.
Here are the pics.
First is the 3 year old female. He had her listed as a normal. She looks great. But she has some yellow fade by the bottom of her belly all the way down and some flames in random spots. Does this mean she could be something else?
Would really like to know if you think she could be something besides a normal.

Here you can see the flames on her side.

Here is the Mojave he is a very bright yellow. He is also underfeed for a 1 year old. He is smaller then my 5 month female.

As far as the first one goes it looks like a typical normal, BUT, it looks like a male, have you popped it to make sure it's a female?
How can you tell, just by looking at it, that it looks like a male?

That's what I was wondering. Snakes don't "look" male or female. That's why you need to pop or probe to know for sure... :confuzd:
Either way, all 3 are nice snakes! Looks like you made a very good deal! The first female is just a normal - very pretty normal with lots of blushing though. The mojave is very nice with lots of yellow and good markings. He may be a little small, but he'll catch up. And the granite is a majorly nice bonus! :gj:

Beautiful snakes for a great deal! :3 I can't wait to get my first one!
Have fun with all of them! :3

All three are very nice....that's a really pretty mojo!
I'd make sure all three of them are sexed correctly. You really can't depend on a CL seller to be certain of the sex.
The one person might be thinking the 3 year old female is male simply because she looks small and on the lean side for being a 3 year old female. However, being underfed for all or most of her life would easily cause that as well. It's certainly no indicator of sex one way or the other. As I said, you really can't be sure with such buys.
She's definitely a normal, though. The coloration and markings you see are very common. She's still very pretty!
Of the two normals, the granite looking one looks to have the best chance at being a genetic morph. He's got great granite markers, but you won't know for sure until he proves out through breeding.
Congrats on working such a great deal! Have fun fattening them up and spoiling them rotten! :P
