Snake Escape

He got out through loose wires in the top, I have no idea where he could have gone. He's too large to get into vents, is there anyway specific solution that anyone has used that seemed to attract them to a visible spot? I have no idea what to do and im freaking out. Any help would be great :(

Samething happend to me luckily he was still in my room ok go look in ur closet or even under cloths that you throw in there or even under blankets if not go look where something in ur house gives off heat

I just recently lost one and spent all day looking for it. It was a hatchling that hadn't even eaten yet and I was worried. Well after looking all day and tearing everything apart I finally gave up and went to bed. My son came in about an hour later to tell me she was sitting in the middle of the floor!!

Your best chance of finding him is to wait until night when there is little sound or movement and low if no light. That is when he will come venturing out. Good luck!!

I had an escape a little while ago and there are a lot of things you can do. The first thing you should do is search near the escape site and work out from there, usually they don't go far. Check every place, even if you think it's too small. I would leave his cage open and possibly put it on the floor, sometimes they will go back home. Night is when they are active and your best bet is to leave the lights off and keep things as quite as possible. They tend to travel along the walls, so you and put plastic shopping bags there and you might be able to hear them if the snake happens to go by them. Leaving a heat mat with a hide near the escape site might lure him back. Depending on how big he is and what he likes to eat, you might be able to make a trap out of a plastic soda bottle and place a thawed rodent in it.

These are all the things I tried, and none of them worked for me because she was in a completely different room, but I did eventually find her. Sometimes you just need a little luck. They can stay hidden for long periods but usually eventually come out looking for water.

Check under the fridge. He will probably be looking for a heat source. If you have dogs or cats you might want to keep an eye out. I have heard of some people putting a heat pad on the floor. Also flour on the floor for tracking. Probably messy though. Hope you find him.

Found him, was in a small box in the bookcase. Scales are scuffed and he's cold but nothing too bad. Back in the cage safe and warm.
